The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.
SASSA will likely be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed about the superior variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The support issue created for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of status sassa possible beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and increase usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
